European Workshops on Traumatic Stress (EWOTS) 2009
On 18-19 September, Polish Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, together with the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS) and the Department of Psychology of the University of Warsaw, organised in Warsaw the European Workshops on Traumatic Stress – EWOTS 2009.
The conference was held in the University’s beautiful Old Library Building. The 3 plenary lectures and 23 workshops, covering a broad range of issues in the field of psychotraumatology, attracted over 200 participants. See the full list of the EWOTS 2009 workshops
The lecturers were researchers and practitioners well-known in this area, both from Poland and – the majority – from other countries: Austria, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, USA, Switzerland and Great Britain. See the full list of the EWOTS 2009 lecturers
EWOTS 2009 can justifiably be described as a resounding success. This is true not only in relation to the very high standard of the substance of the lectures and workshops, but also from an organisational point of view. We are delighted with the expressions of recognition we have received, both in face-to-face conversations and in numerous e-mails. |
