Given the current lack of a good European periodical on psychotraumatology, European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies decided to launch the first European journal on traumatic stress: The European Journal on Psychotraumatology (EJPT), a scientific journal with four issues a year. It will provide crucial information on vital issues surrounding traumatic stress and aims to fully engage the ESTSS membership in crucial discourses concerned with PTSD and other post-trauma disorders, in terms of both prevention and intervention. Among other things, it will include brief reports, full scientific articles, systematic reviews and book

reviews; and it will be an open access electronic resource. The Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Psychotraumatology is Miranda Olff. There are six Associate Editors, two Statistical Advisors, and Editorial Board gathering well-known researchers from 20 different countries.
